Podcast: Discussing My Conversion and Spiritual Warfare w/Bill Snyder

The other day I had the privilege of recording an interview with Bill Snyder of Patchwork Heart Ministry, to discuss my conversion and my book Slaying Dragons: What Exorcists See & What We Should Know.

In this interview, I also discuss how, after my conversion, I began to learn about spiritual warfare as I slowly emerged from the major depression and anxiety disorder that had dominated my life in my early college years.

One of the things that I focused on was how powerfully God can act if we let Him.

Another point I made is how Our Lord brought two significant "conversion" moments into my life, each initiated by a sincere Confession.  As we know from what exorcists can teach us, Confession is the critical moment of grace which can shatter any diabolical holds there may be in our lives.

The pursuit of holiness, of course, cannot stop at Confession - that is the launch point for spiritual renewal.  From there, we must do the work necessary to stay in, and to progress in, sanctifying grace.

God will do it in us if we let Him.

Listen and share!

Also, for youth, who are enduring, or who have endured, depression and anxiety and a weak spiritual life, get a copy of my other book, Swords and Shadows: Navigating Youth Amidst the Wiles of Satan, which details my youth, lack of faith, depression and isolation, wandering toward the occult, and the miraculous conversion which Our Lord caused in my soul.

In that book, I also discuss how my research for Slaying Dragons led me to understand what the devil had been up to in my youth, and how I was able to break, with the aid of God, all of his holds and lies and traps.  Real - practical - spiritual warfare advice.
